As 2024 drew to a close, the Apzumi team gathered in Poznań to mark another milestone - our annual holiday retreat. The event wasn’t just a celebration of achievements but a chance to reconnect, reflect, and recharge for the journey ahead. With a vibrant atmosphere and a touch of creativity, this year’s retreat was nothing short of extraordinary.
The retreat offered plenty of moments to bond and unwind. Conversations flowed over delicious food and drinks, with signature red and blue cocktails adding a festive flair. The dance floor buzzed with energetic moves, while the karaoke spotlight revealed hidden talents and created laughter-filled memories. These shared experiences reinforced the strength of our remote-first team, reminding us of the vibrant community we’ve built together.
A special moment of the evening was the exchange of gifts, highlighting our appreciation for each team member. This year’s surprise? Custom-branded merchandise, including iconic Polish flip-flops from Kubota, personalized with the Apzumi logo.
For the past three years, our retreats have been a canvas for storytelling, weaving the adventures of our beloved robots, Ap, Zu, and Mi, into a narrative of growth and innovation. This year, our retreat embraced the theme of a thrilling treasure hunt. The highlight was a board-game-inspired roadmap that showcased our key projects.
To make it even more engaging, we designed custom game cards and collaborated with project teams to create mood boards for each project. We wouldn’t be ourselves without personalizing the experience for our team members, so each employee also received a personalized, thematic thank-you note.
At the end of the treasure hunt, we unveiled the greatest treasure of all—ourselves, the Apzumi team. This memorable moment was brought to life with an animation of an opening treasure chest, revealing our employees as the true Apzumi’s gems.
While 2024 was dynamic and filled with both successes and hurdles, we emerge from it stronger and more connected. The retreat reminded us that the true treasure lies within - our talented, dedicated team. As we step into 2025, we do so with renewed energy and anticipation for the adventures that await. Together, we’ll continue to innovate, grow, and create impactful projects that leave a mark.
